We encourage our whole team to further their learning while working with us. To keep up with the ever-changing compliance obligations our team is constantly learning through internal and external training, as well as on-the-job mentoring.
We employ accountants at various stages in their careers. Therefore, we believe continuous learning is valuable for any team member, no matter their career path or stage.
Macmillans Accountants has trainee accountants employed while currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Newcastle. We accommodate for their studies as well as provide exam leave when needed.
We have also mentored and paid the course fees in full for client managers to complete their CA Programs and become members of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. Both these client managers started with us while still studying at university.
Additionally, in the past, we have supported local schools with their work experience programs.
